About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive with 3-7 years of experience to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to the accurate reporting of financial data. You will work closely with the finance and operations teams to support business growth and maintain financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow statements) and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring they are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and other financial filings.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving any discrepancies or issues identified.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance, providing analysis and recommendations to improve financial health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and HR, to ensure accurate financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Help develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance.
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to accounting and financial reporting.
